A couple of months ago, I am almost certain it was in February. Yes, it was, because it was when the girls started back at their current school. I went to Office Depot to get their school supplies. As usual I put Rex, in his car seat of course, in the back of the shopping cart and I put Emma in the front seat on the shopping cart. We went in and got what we needed. I had parked right at the front at the curb of the sidewalk in front of the store. When we came out, I stopped the shopping cart in front of our van because there was the curb I couldn't get down to get next to the door of the van like I usually do.
I got Emma out and as I turned to set her on the ground, the shopping cart started rolling away toward the curb (Rex was still in cart mind you). I grabbed the cart just as one wheel was off the curb, saving my baby from certain accident. With his car seat hooked on one arm, I pushed the shopping cart into the shrubs, hoping to hook the wheel so it wouldn't roll into the parking lot again. As I turned to go put Rex in the van, the cart started rolling again, but this time I couldn't stop it (didn't have the same motivation). It was so funny I had to take a picture, because it didn't just fall of the curb. It fell of the curb and then it exploded...or at least, it fell apart! (I only wish I had the audio for the huge crashing sound it made, so imagine what you think a shopping cart would sound like when it crashes and falls apart.)

oh my goodness! At least you got Rex out, how scary, yet funny at the same time!
