Arthur Follow-Up

As you may have read in an earlier post, I have a few misgivings about a PBS favorite, Arthur. But apparently, that doesn't stop my kids--or me--from watching the silly show. As strange as I think the show is, it isn't so bad for my, ehem, kids to be watching. It isn't something I can explain and I apologize if my posts are contradicting each other. Today I decided to take a break while the kids were in their room playing. I sat down in front of the TV. My intention was to watch a recorded episode of the People's Court. But Arthur was already on and somehow I got sucked in. Which would have been well and good, except that Kimmy walked into the room before I had a chance to change the channel. Of course she started laughing hysterically, pointing her finger at me, saying (as best she could in the middle of a fit of laughter), "YOU LIKE ARTHUR!" What can I say, I wanted to see how DW's Netkitten was going to be fed while her computer was in the shop for the scary-laughing-clown virus! You'd have kept watching too!
