Here is what I have been working on lately. I got this kit for Christmas almost 4 years ago. I actually started working on it last October, but didn't get too far. I have pulled it out again for Christmas in July! Actually I am hoping that by starting now I will be done in time for Christmas. I am making two at the same time, one for Thomas' mom. I have never worked with applique before and as fun as it is, I don't think I will do another project this big with it. When I am completely done with borders and backing and binding it will measure 40X40. AND, thankfully, my mom's sewing machine does a really nice blanket stitch, so I won't have to outline the whole thing by hand. I am excited with how cute it is turning out. Too bad I ran out of applique stuff. I have the shepherd and sheep all cut out, but I need more for the angels that go on top. Hopefully you will see another picture with the completed project before too long....

That is gorgeous! Can't wait to see the finished product. And I like the new blog layout. ;o)
Wow! You are so crafty girl! Can't wait to see it all done. :)
OH! That is so precious! I love those wall hangings, I actually bough a couple patterns for some when they were only 99 cents, but I am SO scared to start one!
I WANT I WANT I WANT! You have to either email me instructions or tell me where to get that kit, because I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THIS WALL-HANGING!
Hey Jenny!
Here is a link to the website where you can buy the pattern. I am not sure where you could get a kit, I got this forever ago in Provo. But maybe you could google it. Here is the link
https://www.arttoheart.com/online/index.html
Click on the drop down and it is called Joy to the World. You can also see what it will look like when it is done.
Actually, click on the patterns tab at the top. Then on the patterns page, click on the drop down menu at the bottom and click on joy to the world.
Kristy...Hey your girls are so so so cute. And what are you having and when are you due?? Will this be your fourth? My husband asked me to take our blog private but I would love for you to still check in once and awhile. Will you email me your email so I can add you? ginasteinagel@hotmail.com

WOW!! you seriously are soo talented!! did I tell you I was sad you didn't send a bag on to the reunion so I could win it in the raffle?? I asked your mom if you did. :( maybe next year??
I now, I meant to make one to send, but I am so backed up with my sewing projects. I will have to make you one, it make take a year on my list to get done, but eventually I will make you one.
Kristy that is darling! You will have to enter it into the Arlington Stake Nativity program. Great job once again.
That looks fantastic. Congrats! How do you have time to do it with three girls (who are very darling!).
