Home Depot Kid's Workshop

I took the girls to Home Depot Kid's Workshop this morning. They were so excited to use "real live" hammers! (Kimmy's words!) They made a cute little wheelbarrow plant holder. We will definitely be going next month too. Each time they go, they get a pin for their apron that represents the project they have done, sort of like a boy scout merit badge but way cooler! Thanks, Jim and Nat, for telling us about it. And thanks, Wade and Marie, for helping my kids, you guys are so great!

Then, on the way out, they get a free hot dog. Honestly, I can't imagine anything better than free food!

Yeah for Home Depot. We have gone a few times on kid craft day and it's been so fun. We need to do it again. The roof looks great.

How fun! I always see things for the kid's workshop and have never taken my kids. Maybe I'll need to get that into our plans one of these weekends!
