Arthur is an .....

There is a show on PBS some of you other moms may have seen with your kids. It is called "Arthur." In my opinion it is a creepy little show, but my kids love it. The other night KJ and I had a big debate about it. The characters are animal/humans. I could never figure out what kind of animals they were though. The only one I knew for sure was that Buster is a bunny. But I was completely lost on all the other animals. So I found a FAQs page on PBS and discovered much to my surprise, that Arthur is in fact an aardvark!I never in a million years would have guessed it. I guess animals that start with the letter "A" are hard to come up with. Some of the other ones surprised me too. A couple of them are monkeys and some other strange animals. It is really an odd combination of some obscure animals. The other thing I can't figure out about the show is if all these little kid animals can talk and walk and be human, why can't their pets talk? Arthur the "aardvark" has a little puppy named Pal. Why can't he walk and talk and be human? So strange! I am trying not to dwell on it though.
