Our Little Man!

Well, I have been very absent lately from the internet. But I finally mustered the motivation to post some pictures of our little Man. He is such a darling little thing and the labor and delivery went so smoothly and quickly (apart from the epidural not working, dang it). The doctor broke my water at 8 in the morning and RG was born right about noon. I guess the catheter in my back for the epidural slipped and the labor was moving so fast they didn't have time to re-do it. I have never been a person who ever remotely wanted a natural child birth, but if I had chosen that route, I would definitely not want to be stuck flat on my back in a hospital bed to endure the contractions. Oh well, it makes for a really good story and was an experience I never expected to have. (And maybe it wasn't 100% natural because the initial dose of medicine worked for about an hour, but close enough as far as I'm concerned!) And what was worse, I was ready to push and the Dr. wasn't there yet. That was the worst part, not being able to push when every thing in my body wanted to. And on another good note, I only had to push through one contraction and he was here. Good thing all this happened on the last baby or KJ might be an only, lonely child! Okay, no more complaining, we are both very healthy and RG was worth every single second of it! Here are some more pictures:
