Top 5 Things I WON'T Miss about Being Pregnant
1. I will definitely not miss the heart burn every night before bed. Bleh!
2. I won't miss one little bit the rope and pulley system set up next to my bed from my ceiling to help me get out of bed in the morning. Actually, I only wish I had one of those. I won't miss the grunting and pulling and pushing to get out of bed in the morning. I actually considered just rolling out of bed and landing on the floor on my knees and elbows so as not to injure my unborn child. But ultimately I decided it would be harder to get off the floor than to get out of bed.
3. I won't miss not being able to bend over without spreading my legs really far apart and, again, grunting.
4. I won't miss the pain and swelling in all sorts of places of my body. I'll spare you the details...
5. And most of all! I won't miss not being able to stretch out on my tummy. I can HARDLY wait to sleep on my tummy again. Or to at least be able to sleep on my back without getting nauseated!!
Top 5 Things I WILL Miss about Being Pregnant
(Surprisingly enough, this list was easier to come up with!)
1. I will miss having someone to talk to when I am alone. As rare as those moments may be, it is nice to know there is someone inside of me listening to me (I imagine he is riveted by every word I utter). And at this point, he doesn't talk back. I guess I will just have to go back to talking to myself in those quiet moments of solitude.
2. I will miss having a built in TV tray. If I slouch just right on the couch (Slouch on the Couch, that is kind of a funny rhyme) there is a perfect spot on top of my belly for a glass of milk to dip cookies in or for a bowl of ice cream. And the best part is, it is close enough to my mouth that I don't have to worry about dribbling food down my big belly!
3. I will miss those precious little moments in Sacrament meeting when my sweet little Rachel would put stickers on my tummy just below my line of vision and I would end up walking around with fairies and smilies on my tummy for all to see...completely unbeknownst to me. Wait, maybe this belongs on the first list.
4. I am really, really going to miss using my pregnancy as an excuse for any and everything! "Thomas, I can't make dinner because I am pregnant. Will you do it for me?" "I am crying because of the pregnancy and I just don't know how to stop." "I am really grouchy and mean right now because of my raging pregnant hormones!" "Thomas (At 12 o'clock at night) I need a hamburger so badly, I could almost start crying...and then I wouldn't know how to stop!" And luckily I have a wonderful, patient husband who has really put up with me and I am really milking it for all it is worth this last week! Because this could very well be the last time I have to use it!
5. I don't know what else I will miss...

Oh, man, that was great! I loved both lists. I'm so excited for you for tomorrow. Maybe I'll do one of these lists when it's my turn, but I don't really think I'll be able to come up with things I'll miss...
Thanks Kelli! Sorry I am abandoning you in Primary! I bet you are already counting down to the 30th!
