So I had my dr's appointment today and boy was I disappointed! I am not dilated AT ALL!!! I really wish my doctor would just lie to me and say I was dilated 1cm. What harm would that have done? Not only am I not dilated, but the baby has not dropped at all. He tried to make me feel better by saying that after you have had a few babies, you usually don't drop until you are actually in labor. Nice try doctor. I left his office committed to walking a minimum of 5 hours a day...among other techniques to help myself go into labor. Don't worry, non of those techniques involves drinking castor oil...yucky!
And the other thing he said to make me feel better is that we can still induce a week early as medically necessary considering my fast labors. I would just have to come in the night before for some special medicine to get my body ready. I could go into more technical phrasology, but I will spare you the gory details!
And another positive is I have more time to get ready, um, like to finish painting walls and cleaning the nooks and crannies of my house I usually enjoy ignoring.

I'm actually jealous that you are so close! Just (kind of) kidding. Hang in there, like you said, at least you have time to get some stuff done. I'll miss having my pregnant ally in Primary once you're out for a while.
