It's All About the Bribe!

I am so excited! Emma is potty trained and she has been the easiest one yet. I started last Monday using pixie sticks as a bribe. She didn't go in the potty one time. She always went in her pants and what was worse was she thought it was funny. She would run around laughing about it (which was kind of funny because she would have her wet clothes on, running around with her legs as far apart as possible like some weird penguin). I thought it would be a long, long road.

So I took her to the store and let her pick her own candy. She chose Skittles and Starbursts. I think that was Friday and she has been accident-free since! I was even brave enough to take her to church in underwear instead of a pull-up...of course, my purse was stuffed to the brim with candy and she will probably have a mouth full of cavities--but I don't have to change diapers! I should really knock on wood, I am most likely jinxing myself and she will have a relapse or something. It is such a relief to not have to change diapers and to have it done before the baby gets here.
