I am so excited, one week of school and then KJ is out for summer. We have decided to leave the girls at the charter school. This was the first year it has been open and it has been a year filled with all sorts of drama, but I think ultimately the bumps will be smoothed out and it will be a wonderful school. KJ has done such a great job and I am so impressed with her progress this year. She is reading chapter books in a day, is spelling words I didn't know how to spell until at least 3rd grade, and is so in love with anything science related. She is constantly telling me little facts about bugs and water and being environmentally friendly...
But I am looking forward to having her home. And then next year my little RM will be in Kindergarten. It just blows me away and I am a little more nervous about sending RM into the cold cruel world of public education than I was with KJ. KJ never shed one tear but I would come home and cry every day for two weeks after I dropped her off. I hope RM is the same as KJ, that will make it easier for me if she does not cry. I keep talking about her going to school next year and she is pretty excited. I bought her the children's book "The Kissing Hand" for her birthday, it is a very sweet story about a racoon going to school, his mom kisses his hand and tells him that whenever he misses her to put his hand up to his cheek to remember her love. Very sweet book!
And then for two months it will be just me and EC at home until our little baby gets here in October. I don't know what we will do with ourselves!

Oh! I know I am going to be a crier too! We NEED to get these girlies together soon, seriously! Do you have my email?? akndsbowerz (at) hotmail (com), lets set something up! And you can tell me all about Charter School, we are set on that is where we want Nat to go!
My girls are the same way! Bella will go off and do whatever, never had a problem w/ things like daycare or nursery...but Aubree...WELL...now she's my momma's-girl! She had THE hardest time in nursery, since that's about the only place I've ever left her! I chalk it up to Bella having to go to daycare for awhile when she was younger....not that I'd trade Aube toughening up for having to put her in daycare!
I'm sure you'll be busy! I feel the same way about sending Stevie to school...how could time have gone by so fast?
Hey! can you email me the link to the charter school? I keep losing the web address! kandsbowerz (at) hotmail (dot) com
