BOY!!!
Just in case any of you haven't heard yet! We are so thrilled. I have the cutest story to tell about our ultrasound today. We took all of the girls, we were all so excited to find out what we are having. There were a few people in the waiting room when we got called back. After the ultrasound Dr. took all the measurements, she turned the monitor away from us and asked Kimmy to come over and read something for her as she typed. So Kimmy read, "It's....a...." and then she turned the monitor toward us and Kimmy said, "BOY!" We all started cheering and crying and laughing and the Dr. was hugging us and congratulating us. It was so much fun. So when we went back out into the waiting room, the lady who had been there before was still there and she said, "We guessed it was a boy!" I guess they heard our excitement all the way out in the waiting room.
I was certain before that I wanted to name him Rex, but I have gone away from that name and now we are talking about Christian Thomas Pool, or another thought I had was maybe Christopher Thomas Pool. That way I can call him Chris after my Dad! And of course he will have Thomas' name, Thomas deserves for his son to have his name after having three girls to wait for a son!!! We are already talking about how fun it will be for Thomas to go on Fathers and Sons camping trips and giving him the priesthood and teaching him to play basketball and football and golf and any other sport!
There you have it! I don't have to take the blue and green baby clothes back and I can go ahead and start making my lovely little froggie blankie!!! (I guess I will have to stop using words like lovely for my baby boy!)

Yea!!! Congrats! I'm really excited for you guys! Boys are an adventure, and lots of hard work, but they sure are fun!

YAY!!!! How exciting!!!! That is THE BEST NEWS! How cool to be having a boy! There is hope for us all-girl families! hehe!!
I LOVE both Christian Thomas AND Christopher Thomas, and I feel the same way about giving them a name after their dads (as you might have noticed). Kristy, I'm SO happy for you, and I'm going to have to look for something adorable IN BLUE to send you.
Wow! That's so awesome you're having a boy! I love the name Christian, too. Either way is cute! We were so certain Ben was going to be a boy that I bought a pair of little boy tennis shoes at Target as a good luck charm and sure enough! I didn't have to take them back! Congrats!!
And you DEFINITELY have to have a baby shower now for all the boy things you're going to need! :)
